Q: Do you travel to the location on the big day to do hair and makeup, if it's a U.A.E based wedding?

A: Yes, Linda will travel to the location. All location and timing details will be requested and discussed with you ahead of the event.

Q: Do you charge for travelling to the location for the U.A.E wedding?

A: Linda will travel to the discussed location for your event/big day preparation, within the U.A.E at no charge. If you require Linda to be with you for the duration of the event, outside Dubai, for more than one day - please ensure that hotel stay is provided on a half board basis. 

For clients who are based outside the U.A.E, please keep in mind that:

- Return flight from Dubai (DXB) will be covered by the client.

- Hotel stay (half board basis) for Linda at the hotel the bride is staying at - for the duration of the events will be covered by the client.

- Private transfers to and from the hotel to your location to be covered by the client.

Q: Do I buy my own false lashes or will you provide them?

A: Linda carries new pairs of false lashes in her kit and can be applied for you at no extra charge. Additionally, you are free to buy your own pair of lashes according to your preference. Lash brands used are often Ardell, Huda Beauty and Pinky Goat.

Q: Do you carry hair extensions?

A: Due to hygiene reasons, Linda does not carry hair extensions. To that end, if your chosen hairstyle for the day calls for hair extensions, Linda will give you information on where you can source them yourself and apply them for you at an extra charge of AED 100.

If you require Linda to source extensions, the price for this will be charged to your total fee and you can keep the extensions with you post-event.

Q: What do I need to keep in mind before the big day regarding makeup?

A: A few things. Please do not try facial treatments that are too harsh on the skin such as facial waxing or threading, a few days before your wedding day, especially if this is your first time. As this could lead to irritated skin.

- Do plan your treatments in advance of at least three months with a reputed skin clinic, esthetician or dermatologist you can trust.

- Facial hair is left to the client's discretion. Please keep in mind that it may show up in photos and person.

Q: Are all makeup and hair tools sanitised?

A: Linda uses only sanitised and disposable tools as applicable for makeup and hairstyles. 

Combs/brushes and heated hair tools are also sanitised after every session with a client.

All makeup products are also sanitised before a new client and after each client.

Q: When should I book a trial with you?

A: You may book a trial with Linda as close to a week before your event/wedding/occasion. A trial is not often necessary, however, is recommended if you are a bride who has not applied makeup before or have very little experience with makeup, and would like to 'test-run' the look. Through experience, brides are often reassured when they have a solid idea about their entire look for the big day. 

A trial includes a run through with a full face of makeup, demo hairstyle and your accessories if you prefer to bring it.

Q: How much time does it take?

A: The following are rough guides for timing:

    Trial: Up to 2 hours.

    Event/Main sessions: Up to 3 hours for the bride. Up to 1.5 hours per extra person.

    (Timings are inclusive of hair and makeup)

Q: How do I pay you?

A: As standard procedure, Linda requests a 50% advance deposit of the total fee is paid post-trial/consultation call, along with the trial fee. This will be discussed and agreed upon with the client before the trial. Paying a deposit confirms that Linda will be booked for your chosen dates. 

All payments are accepted as bank transfers. Bank details will be intimated to the client after the consultation call on the first invoice. 

The final amount will be paid by the client before the first session/event/main day begins after Linda arrives.

You will receive the first confirmation from Linda when your deposit is successful. A second confirmation will be sent to you going over all the booking details (location, time etc) once again the day before the first event.

Q: How does booking work?

A: Please send Linda a private message with all the details of your wedding via Instagram or email: labell.muah@gmail.com.

She will send you her availability, discuss dates and fill you in on the process. You can also send in your reference images for hair and makeup. After the details are mutually agreed on, Linda will send you a confirmation as a message and/or email with the discussed details in writing and the invoice for the deposit.

Q: What if I need to cancel my appointment?

A: Please call and cancel up to a week before your appointment. 

Additionally, kindly confirm this in writing via message or email. 

Please note that the deposit will be considered non-refundable. However, if you do want to take up this appointment at another time, you may do so without paying an additional deposit. 

​

A note on Covid precautions:

​

- Linda's kit will be sanitised, including but not limited to - brushes, products, sprays, applicator tools. 

- Disposable tools are used at every instance, where applicable. For eg: lipsticks, eyeliner gels etc. will be decanted onto a clean stainless steel palette using disposable spatulas.

- Linda will be wearing a mask at all times and her hands will be sanitised before, during and after the session.
